Each scenario operates as its own sub-module within the firmware, with independent animation sets and interaction logic. The marriage and friendship systems introduce a secondary social layer that affects growth trajectory outcomes. Hidden eggs function as an achievement-style reward system.

Your pet progresses through 5 distinct life stages from hatching to old age. Each stage unlocks new scenarios and changes the pet's appearance and needs. How you raise it determines what it becomes.

Growth trajectory is algorithmically determined by a combination of care metrics — feeding frequency, play engagement, health management, and social interactions. There are branching paths at each stage transition, resulting in meaningfully different outcomes across playthroughs.

"Fourteen faces, one device"

Choose between 7 male and 7 female character designs, each with unique sprite art and animations. Different forms offer visual variety across multiple playthroughs without repeating the same experience.

Each of the 14 character forms has dedicated sprite sheets for all 5 growth stages, resulting in 70 unique visual states. Character selection occurs at the start of each new game cycle and cannot be changed mid-playthrough.

"Analog power, digital pet"

Runs on 3 AAA batteries. No USB cables, no lithium cells, no proprietary chargers. When it dies, you swap batteries and move on. Auto-sleep after 1 minute of inactivity preserves battery life.

The 3× AAA configuration provides 4.5V nominal power. The auto-sleep function triggers after 60 seconds of button inactivity, reducing current draw significantly. Wake is instantaneous via the dedicated menu button. Batteries are not included in the package.
